Four people were arrested for driving under the influence during a sobriety checkpoint that operated in south Wichita Saturday night into Sunday morning.
Sedgwick County Sheriff's deputies, with help from Wichita Police officers, stopped around 200 vehicles from 11 p.m. Saturday until about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Sgt. Troy Wells said in addition to the DUI arrests, several citations were issued for other offences, including transporting open containers and minors in possession of alcohol. Below is a selection of live tweets from the checklane.
