Pompeo accepting applications for U.S. Military Academy
Fourth District Kansas Congressman Mike Pompeo is accepting applications from students interested in attending a U.S. Military Academy.
Pompeo will nominate students to attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y.
Applicants need to be 17-23 years old and are obligated to serve at least five years in the military after graduation.
