Augusta homes damaged in lightning strike
Augusta residents were calling their insurance companies after a weekend storm.
Lightning strikes caused minor to moderate damage in Augusta early Sunday morning. It happened about 5:45 a.m.
Augusta Public Safety Major Ray Marbut said homes on Pauline and Sumitt are livable. The home on Pauline suffered $3,000 damage. No one was hurt inside the homes.
