Second man arrested in connection with McPherson murder
McPherson police have arrested a second man in connection with the death of 26-year-old Brandon Brown, a football player for Tabor College.
DeQuinte Flournoy, 19, of Dallas was arrested on a charge of aiding and abbetting murder in the second degree. He is being held on a bond of $500,000.
Brown was involved in an early morning disturbance on Sept. 16 in McPherson and died from injuries at a Wichita hospital six days later.
Another man from Dallas, Alton Franklin, 19, had already been taken into custody. Both Flournoy and Franklin were listed on the McPherson College football team roster in 2011. The KBI is assisting in the investigation.
