A lengthy standoff involving Salina police and SWAT officers ended at around 6 a.m. Friday.

The incident began after the report of a shooting at a home at about 12:15 a.m. A police officer was injured during the incident, but that person's condition was not immediately released.

Our news partners at KWCH are reporting that at one point, SWAT officers deployed gas and smoke bombs to force a man to exit the home. It was not clear this morning what prompted the end of the standoff.
