Wichita State basketball to play at Intrust Bank Arena
The Wichita State men's basketball team will play a game at the Intrust Bank Arena for the third season in a row.
The Shockers have enjoyed success there in the previous two seasons, beating the University of Tulsa and the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
This year's opponent will be the University of Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles, who earned a bid to the NCAA basketball tournament last year by winning Conference USA. This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.
"We are thrilled to host the University of Southern Mississippi, defending Conference USA champions, and to again play at Intrust Bank Arena. This is consecutive years we have been able to bring Conference USA teams to Wichita following NCAA tournament appearances," said Wichita State head coach Gregg Marshall.
Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and will range from $17 to $152.
