Woman stabbed in fight at east side QuikTrip
Wichita Police are investigating a stabbing that took place early Saturday morning at the QuikTrip at Central and Oliver.
"There were several witnesses, including security guards that were working at the QuikTrip at the time (of the stabbing)," said Wichita Police Sergeant Scott Brunow.
Witnesses told police an altercation broke out between two groups of women and ended with a 27-year-old woman being stabbed multiple times in the upper body and chest. The woman was transported by vehicle to Wesley Medical Center.
Police are looking for an African-American female, approximately 22 years old, 5-feet-4-inches tall, heavy build and was wearing a black sequin leopard print shirt, blue jeans and 3-inch red polka dot heels at the time of the stabbing. She was seen getting out of a yellow Mustang at the time of the incident.
