Wichita police have two gang members in custody after a weekend shooting incident outside a home. The shooting was reported around 1 a.m. Sunday in the 9200 block of West Murdock.

Police Lieutenant Doug Nolte said 911 received a call of an argument and a shooting, with the suspects leaving in a minivan. Officers stopped the van near West Street and Del Sienno and took the two men, ages 20 and 23, into custody.

Nolte said the men are documented gang members. Several weapons were found in the van.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, went to a hospital with a gunshot wound to his stomach. The man was in critical condition.

Nolte said it's not clear what led up to the shooting, but it appears that a party was going on at the home on West Murdock.
