Suspicious person spotted near Gordon Parks Academy
A letter was sent home to parents of children attending Gordon Parks Academy after administrators received the report of a suspicious person. Our news partners at KWCH 12 report that children told administrators that someone approached them in a silver Ford F150 and made inappropriate comments.
The school has asked people to keep an eye out for anyone around schools driving that type of vehicle. They also encourage students to not walk alone and for parents to teach their kids to watch out for strangers.
Wichita Police are investigating the incident.
