Man killed in wreck near Hoisington
A man was killed when he was hit by a pickup truck in Barton County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the man was trying to upright his motorcycle in the road on U.S. 281, a couple miles south of Hoisington, around 9:48 p.m. Saturday.
A woman driving southbound in a GMC pickup hit the man.
The KHP identified the victim as Julian Gonzales, 46, of Russell, Kan. He was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
