A teenager claimed she was approached by two men in an SUV on her way to school in the 1700 block of South Ida.

"It happened about 7:15 this (Monday) morning, " Police Sgt. James Buttenbaugh said. "Officers checked the area for the suspects vehicle and talked with neighbors but came up empty-handed."

One of the men was believed to have been armed with a knife. The girl was not hurt.

"We are looking for two individuals in an off-colored, white, full-sized SUV to kind of make contact with them to see what's going on here," Buttenbaugh said. "Be aware of where you're at, where your children are at and watch for strangers."
