Woman escapes three robbery suspects; house ransacked
A Ponca City, Oklahoma, man was arrested in connection with a home invasion.
Police said it happened in the 1000 block of North 5th Street in Arkansas City Monday. The woman said there was a knock at her door then three men busted it open and demanded money. She didn't have any money and police said the suspects stole her cell phone and began to break items in the house.
The woman ran to a neighbor's house, while the suspects also left the scene. Police later arrested Felipe Cabrales Jr on various charges, including robbery. A second person involved was identified and is cooperating with police and the third suspect is currently being investigated. Police said Cabrales was taken to the Cowley County Jail and currently held on an $11,000 bond.
