Three hurt in crash on south Broadway
Three people went to a hospital after a crash in south Wichita.
A man and a woman in their mid 20s received critical injuries. The front seat passenger had head injuries. The back seat passenger was tossed through the windshield of the car.
A man in his mid 30s had a potentially serious injury. The car they were in drove off Broadway and struck a power pole.
Wichita Police Sgt. Clay Germany said all three people were outside the vehicle after the 1:19 a.m. crash, but he did not say if they were thrown out of the car.
Broadway was closed for a time while police investigated.
Lieutenant Joe Schroeder said the two patients with critical injuries were in stable condition. He said alcohol may have been involved, but none was found on the scene of the crash.
