Historic Midtown Tour this weekend
The Historic Midtown Citizens Associations is hosting its annual walking tour of homes along North Park Place in Wichita this weekend. From 11a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, visitors can tour some of Wichita's oldest historic homes.
The walking tour is in its 40th year and draws on average 1,000-2,000 visitors each year. Visitors can learn about the history of the homes are the area and see examples of what life was like in early days of the neighborhood.
Tickets are $10.00 for adults with children 12 and under free when accompanied by an adult. They can be purchased in-person during the tour hours at Fairview Christian Church at 1650 N. Fairview.
