Wichita Police warning Honda owners
Wichita Police have a warning for Honda car owners - keep an eye on your vehicle. The make of car continues to be the most stolen in the Wichita area.
Police say they first noticed the increase last fall, but the number continues to rise. National trends reflect it, as Honda is the number one stolen vehicle according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau.
Police encourage car owners to purchase secondary anti-theft systems like steering wheel locks, alarms or immobilizers.
