Girl forced to fend off a man who attempted to sell her CDs
Wichita police are searching for a man driving a GMC pickup truck after he tried to sell CDs to a 15-year-old girl.
Wichita Police Sergeant Bruce Watts said the incident happened at Central and Clifton around 1 p.m. Friday.
The girl told police that when she told the man she didn't know anybody who wanted the CDs, the man told her she was beautiful and grabbed her arm. The young girl got away by punching the man.
Watts said the suspect is described as an African-American in his 20s, standing 6 feet tall, about 140 pounds and was last seen wearing a leather jacket with a black and yellow patch on the shoulder. The man was driving a black truck.
