Ex-boyfriend threatens, robs woman at Wichita home
An argument between a former boyfriend and girlfriend led to the man holding a knife at the woman's throat.
The ex-boyfriend kicked in the door at the woman's home in the 200 block of S. Kansas Friday evening. The pair argued, leading to the man hitting the woman in the face and chest. The man then held the woman down with the knife and threatened to kill her.
"Our victim was extremely fearful for her life," said Wichita Police Lt. Doug Nolte. "She did wrestle and tried to get away, which ultimately she was able to. She was able to get out of the residence and call 911."
The ex-boyfriend was identified and later arrested Saturday morning in the 1700 block of N. Fountain.
A second suspect was with the ex-boyfriend at the time of the altercation with the woman, but it is not known how they were involved. He has not been identified.
The suspects took cell phones and a wallet from the woman. The struggle left her with a knot on her head and a bitten bloody finger.
