Man robs Intrust Bank inside Dillons Marketplace
Various law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and Wichita Police, are looking for a man who robbed the Intrust Bank inside the Dillons Marketplace at 21st St. N. and Maize Road shortly before 6 p.m. Monday.
"The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and indicated a bomb. He entered the (Intrust Bank) demanding money of the manager," said Wichita Police Sergeant Drew Seiler. "We are getting a lot of cooperation from the businesses, all witnesses that were inside the store and employees."
The robber left with an undetermined amount of money and was traveling west on foot.
Witnesses and employees of the store and bank describe the robber as a white man in his 30s or 40s, standing 6-feet-3-inches tall and was last seen wearing a dark colored T-shirt with blue jeans and a green baseball cap.
There were no injuries to the staff of the bank, employees or customers of the Dillons store.
