Kechi offering incentive to new homebuyers
The city of Kechi has approved a new incentive plan for new homebuyers. Those who purchase a new home in Kechi can receive a grant equal to the city's portion of property taxes for the next 10 years.
There is no minimum home price, but there is a maximum appraised value of $400,000. A $200,000 home would be eligible for $5,731.64 worth of grants while a $400,000 home would total $11,460 in grants over the 10-year period.
Homeowners must move into their new home before Dec. 31, 2013. For more information, contact Kechi City Hall at 316-744-9287.
