A dozen people home during early morning robbery
An early morning home invasion resulted in an undetermined loss for about a dozen people.
It happened at about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 1500 block of South Laura. The suspects apparently kicked in a back door to gain entry into the home.
One suspect was armed with a silver handgun, while another wore a black mask.
"They demanded cash and checks from these victims worth several thousand dollars," Wichita Police Lt. Doug Nolte said. "The ages of those in the home range from 5 to the mid-40s."
No one was hurt during the robbery.
The suspects are believed to be African-American, but the victims did not get a good look at them because they wore masks over their faces.
