Manhunt in Valley Center ends in three arrests
The robbery of an Intrust Bank branch in Valley Center touched off a high-speed chase and manhunt.
The robbery occurred during the noon hour Thursday and officials were able to stop a vehicle at 81st Street North and Sheridan on the west side of Valley Center.
Two suspects were caught soon after the vehicle was stopped. A third man was found at around 3 p.m. in a silver pickup truck in the 3400 block of West 85th Street North. A gun was recovered a few blocks away.
A woman was also taken in for questioning, but her role in the incident was not clear. There was an unconfirmed report that the last man to be arrested was bitten by a police dog.
There were no reports of injuries.
