Police investigate baby's injuries
The Exploited and Missing Child Unit is investigating after a 4-month-old baby Wichita girl was diagnosed with a broke femur and toe.
The baby's mother took her to Wesley Medical Center at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday after noticing the child was favoring one leg.
"She felt this may have happened back on the 22nd when the child was in the care of a 30-year-old couple here in Wichita," said Wichita Police Lt. Joe Schroeder.
The child was admitted to the hospital. No one has been arrested.
