Roofer in critical condition after fall from Wichita home
A roofer is in critical condition at Wesley Medical Center after falling from a home in the 600 block of S. Quentin mapq.st/PS7Hq2 just after 5 p.m.
"He fell approximately 20 feet, bounced off the side of the house, hit an air conditioner and landed on the pavement below," said Wichita Police Sergeant Jim Pinegar.
The man suffered a head injury.
"It appears to be a home accident. It appears he probably slipped off the sheeting on the top of the roof, was not able to regain his balance and that's when he fell," Pinegar said.
Pinegar said the man was a subcontractor out of Kansas City that came down to Wichita to assist with storm damage repairs.
