Woman has purse snatched at east side grocery store
A woman doing some overnight grocery shopping had her purse snatched as she was loading groceries into her vehicle. The incident occured at the Dillons at Harry and Webb Road shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday.
Wichita Police Sergeant Bart Brunscheen said a man strong-armed the woman of her purse and ran into a nearby apartment complex. Police recovered the purse and some clothing that could be from the suspect.
The suspect is still on the loose. Brunscheen said the suspect may be connected to a larceny in the 1200 block of south Rock Road.
