COLWICH, Kan. (AP) ICM of Colwich has laid off 25 more employees in response to slowing growth in the ethanol industry.

The company now employs 275 people. ICM, which designs and manages ethanol plants, had 671 employees in April 2008.

In a statement e-mailed Wednesday to the Associated Press, ICM CEO Dave Vander Griend says the company is focused on retrofitting existing plants and introducing new products and services.

He said the company remains committed to its long-term growth and expansion in the renewable energy industry as a whole.
