Man shot in south Wichita motel
A man had to seek refuge in his hotel room bathroom after two men asked him to sell crack cocaine, then demanded his money and began shooting at him.
Wichita Police Sgt. Scott Brunow says the incident happened at the Bellboy Motel in the 2000 block of S. Broadway just after midnight.
The victim received a gunshot wound to the arm, and was transported to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis. He later refused treatment.
Police are looking for two suspects. The first is an African-American man, 5-feet-8-inches tall, medium build and was wearing a brown coat with a hood. The second suspect is an Aftrican-American man, 6-feet-2-inches tall, heavy build with grey hair and a beard. He was wearing a blue and yellow coat at the time of the incident.
