Man bites police officer and gets tazed
Police had their hands full with a 35-year-old man in a large disturbance at The Place bar in the 4800 block of E. Harry.
Wichita Police Sgt. Scott Brunow said the man was tazed by officers after repeatedly ignoring commands to drop the knife he was carrying.
"A second officer was bitten by our 35-year-old suspect during the arrest," Brunow said.
No information was given on the officer's injury.
Two other people, a 42-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, were also arrested for attempting to incite others to join in the disturbance.
