Man punched in face, has car stolen in south Wichita
A Wichita man had his car stolen from him while he was checking it for a leak outside his apartment complex in the 2200 block of S. Oliver.
Wichita Police Lieutenant Steve Kenney said two suspects drove up to the man's car Tuesday night, and one jumped out and punched the 41-year-old man in the face. The victim ran away, leaving his car running.
One of the suspects stole the car, but it was later found in the 1800 block of S. Glendale.
A witness at the apartment complex was able to help police identify two possible suspects. They are Quanique Hameen and Keith Hickles, both 18-year-old black men. The suspects drove a dark blue, 1990s Cadillac with a partial tag of "413."
No arrests have been made.
