Sedgwick County to issue Vietnam veteran license plates
Sedgwick County will be issuing a Vietnam veterans' license plate for cars, trucks and motorcycles.
The treasurer's office said the requirement for the tag is a completed military veteran license application, form TR-102, which is available on the county's web site at www.sedgwickcounty.org.
Applicants also have to submit a copy of their DD 214 form, showing they were awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal or the Vietnam Service Medal.
The proof of eligibility is only required for the initial application - it will not be required to renew the license tags. No additional fee is required for the Vietnam veteran tag. It will be subject to the standard registration fees and property taxes.
