When asked about House Speaker John Boehner urging lawmakers to work with President Barack Obama after winning re-election, Kansas Senator Jerry Moran said it goes both ways.

"It's a two-way street," Moran said. "It seems to me that while the speaker has set the tone of working together, we also need to make certain that comes from the White House, as well."

Moran was in Wichita on Thursday as guest speaker for the West Sedgwick County Sunrise Rotary Club meeting at the Rolling Hills Country Club. The Rotary Club is comprised of business and professional leaders in the area.
