Bombardier Learjet reaches tentative agreement with machinists
Machinist Union negotiators have reached a tentative agreement with Bombardier Learjet that could end the work stoppage before the holidays.
The two sides have been working with a federal mediator. International Association of Machinists spokesman Bob Wood says union leadership is recommending passage of the agreement when members vote on it this Saturday. They'll be voting at the Machinists Union District Hall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3830 South Meridian.
Details of the agreement are expected to be released Friday morning.
