Wichita's Veterans Day Parade will be held Saturday
A Veterans Day Parade will be held Saturday morning in downtown Wichita. The parade route will be along Main Street from Murdock to Douglas and ending at the Century II Plaza near Waco.
A food court and displays of past and present military equipment will be on hand following the parade. It will also feature flyovers by a KC-135 from McConnell Air Force Base and a T-6 jet from the Commemorative Air Force.
The lead float in the parade is one by the Military Order of the Purple Heart which will have 10 to 12 Purple Heart recipients. The parade starts at 11 a.m.
