It's the first weekend for Operation Holiday
It is thought America is the land of plenty, but one in six people go hungry.
November 10-19 is National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Inter-Faith Ministries said citizens can help by donating to Operation Holiday, which kicked off its annual campaign last week in Wichita.
The organiozation will gather cash, money and clothing for needy families for the holidays.
