Man arrested on gun charges outside Old Town bar
Wichita police officers found two handguns on a man who had just been ejected from a bar in Old Town.
It happened around 2 a.m. Friday at Doc Howard's at Second and Mosley.
Police say the intoxicated man had been involved in a disturbance inside the nightclub and was being escorted out of the establishment by bouncers when officers decided to help. The officers found a 9 mm handgun and a .380 auto. The man also had extra magazines.
No one was hurt in the disturbance. The 22-year-old suspect was booked into jail.
