East side smoke shop robbed
The Smokers Friendly Shop at 6659 E. Harry was robbed of money and cigarettes.
"The suspect used a handgun to force an employee and two customers into a back room about 11:30 Tuesday morning," Wichita Police Sgt. James Krok said. "The suspect is African-American, 6-foot to 6-foot-2-inches tall, wearing glasses, a tan stocking hat, yellow shirt, and a light or navy blue jogging suit."
The suspect was last seen running away on foot to the west near Woodlawn. There's no word of any injuries. Police are reviewing video to get leads in the case.
