Butler Community College to play for NJCAA football championship
Butler Community College will vie for the NJCAA football title after accepting a bid to the Graphic Edge Bowl.
The Grizzlies (11-0), ranked No. 2 in the country, will face No. 1 Iowa Western (11-0) on Dec. 2 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Butler celebrated the announcement on Twitter:

The Grizzlies wrapped up the Region VI title on Sunday with a 26-16 victory over Hutchinson Community College. Butler also won the Jayhawk Conference championship earlier this year for the third consecutive season.
The offense has been prolific for Butler, led by quarterback Billy Cosh, who has tossed 25 touchdowns and for 2,825 yards. Wide receiver Javess Blue has been the recipient of 12 touchdowns on his way to a 1,000-yard season. Dreamius Smith, a running back from Wichita Heights, has rushed for 17 touchdowns.
Butler last played in the title game in 2010, losing to Navarro College 13-12.
