Suspicious caller pretends to represent Operation Holiday
Operation Holiday is warning the public that someone has fraudulently represented themselves as a representative of their organization.
Someone called a person and offered to help take application information over the phone. Applications for assistance with Operation Holiday have to be done in person. The phone call could may have been an attempt to get personal information for identity theft.
Anyone who receives a call from someone claiming to represent Operation Holiday, and reaching out to help apply, should hang up immediately.
