2012 Capitol Christmas Tree stops in Wichita

The 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree will make a stop in Wichita tonight on its trek from Colorado to the capitol building in Washington, D.C.  The 70 foot tree will be at McConnell Air Force Base sometime between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. 

McConnell is one of 23 stops for the tree which came from the White River National Forest near Meeker, Colorado.  The tree will arrive in at the Capitol November 26th and will be lit by Speaker of the House John Boehner.
