Police looking for two men in northside robbery
Two men demanded money from a convenience store attendant as he was leaving the KC Gas and Grocery Store near 13th and Broadway, shortly before midnight Saturday.
Wichita Police Sgt. Bruce Watts said the attendant was outside of the store when he was confronted. One man pointed a gun into the chest of the clerk, demanded to get back into the store and for the money in the two cash registers.
The employee of the store was not injured in the robbery.
The suspects left the scene on foot. The first suspect is described as a black man, 5-feet-9-inches tall, 160 pounds and was wearing a black jacket and pants. The second suspect is described as a black man, 5-feet-8-inches tall and 150 pounds, wearing a red jacket and white shirt at the time of the robbery.
