Wichita State beats Howard in Cancun Challenge game 69-50
Carl Hall and Demetric Williams each scored 11 points, helping the Wichita State Shockers men's basketball team beat Howard University 69-50 Saturday in a Cancun Challenge Game.
Despite the win, Shocker Head Coach Gregg Marshall said he wasn't pleased with some perfomances, and there would be work to do during Sunday's practice. Marshall said his message to his players will be to not "get a false sense of security of how good you are."
The Shockers (4-0) will travel to Cancun, Mexico to face DePaul in the Cancun Challenge Tuesday.
