An elderly woman had her glasses and television stolen in a home invasion. Wichita Police Sgt. Scott Brunow said the incident happened around 8:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of east 15th St. N.

The 77-year-old woman tells police she answered a knock at the door and knew the man, but didn't allow him in.

When the woman told the man she didn't have any money, he busted a door chain and forced his way into the home. The woman was not injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a 30-40 year old African-American man, 5-feet-4-inches tall with a medium build. He goes by the name "Charles."
