Geary County wreck kills one
An Abiliene man was killed in a wreck near Junction City on Thanksgiving.
John Kaneaster, 48, was driving a pickup truck westbound on I-70, about a mile east of the city. The Kansas Highway Patrol said the car crossed the center line and went into the eastbound lanes of traffic. It went across the eastbound 301 exit ramp before striking a tree and flipping over in the ditch.
Kaneaster died in the crash. A 13-year-old in the car with him was injured in the accident.
