Furnace sparks fire at Eastborough Apartments
A fire caused about $7,000 in damage to a residence in the Eastborough Apartments, located in the 7000 block of E. Kellogg.
The Wichita Fire Department contained the fire to one apartment after receiving the call around 5:45 a.m. Sunday. Nearby apartments had some smoke and water damage, said Wichita Fire Department Lt. Kelly Zane.
Zane said a furnace is the likely cause of the fire.
