Police investigating suspicious death in west Wichita
Wichita police are looking into the death of a 73-year-old man who was found Sunday afternoon in his west side home. The body was found in a home at 3501 West 9th.
Sergeant Steve Yarberry said the man was found by his brother, who had not seen him since Thanksgiving. Yarberry said homicide detectives and a crime lab were called to the scene. There were unusual circumstances involved in the case, but no further details have been released.
Detectives have been talking to neighbors to find out more information. The death is being called suspicious for now.
