State troopers said 62 year-old Janice Alyward was near her hometown just after seven o'clock Monday morning when for some reason she lost control of her SUV, went left of center and entered a north ditch. The 2006 Jeep Cherokee she was driving struck a field drive way and vaulted rolling several times before coming to rest on the vehicles top. She was dead at the scene. Troopers said Alyward had her seat belts on during the crash.
