"Holly Ball" back on at Derby High School
Derby High School Principal Tim Hamblin has reversed his decision to cancel the school's winter dance, better known as "Holly Ball."
Hamblin canceled the dance after a student caused $600 in damage to bleachers at a football game against Hutchinson. He also cited excessive cursing at football games, tardiness to class and excessive litter on the Derby High campus as reasons for cancelling the winter formal.
The student body raised $600 to fix the bleachers.
