Police looking for pawn shop burglars
Wichita Police are looking for four men who used a car to smash into the front doors of a south Wichita pawn shop. The burglary was reported around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday at A-OK Pawn Shop at 1547 S. Oliver.
Lieutenant Doug Nolte said what appeared to be a silver car backed up to the front doors, and then smashed them open. Nolte said four men jumped out and smashed into display cases at the front of the store. They grabbed jewelry, laptop computers and other items.
Officers were called to the store by a burglar alarm. Detectives will be looking at surveillance video from the pawn shop to try to identify the four men.
