Woman's nose possibly broken in robbery attempt
Wichita Police are looking for the suspects who possibly broke a woman's nose during an aggravated robbery in the 100 block of North Nevada.
It happened just before four o'clock Thursday morning. Police said two men with bandannas over their faces got inside looking for a 25 year-old man. He wasn't there. The suspects found two women and three children inside. During the incident, one suspect struck a 24 year-old woman in the face. A 12 year-old girl, 3 year-old and 9 month old boy, were inside the house. The children and a 49 year-old woman were not hurt. The injured woman was treated at the scene and did not go to the hospital.
The men took a purse, cell phone and T-V. Detectives were on scene interviewing witnesses. Police said the first suspect is African-American, believed to be in his 30's, 5-foot-11,with a slim build, black clothing and eyeglasses. A second suspect was described also as African-American, believed to be in his 30's with a large build with a navy blue zip up hoody. Height unknown. The suspects were seen leaving in a gold colored four-door Cadillac. So far, no arrests have been made.
