Daylight burglars strike Harvey County homes
The Harvey County sheriff's office is warning residents to lock their doors and keep an eye on their property.
A rash of residential burglaries has been reported in the past week. There were three break-ins reported in one day in the southeastern part of the county.
The burglars have been striking during daylight hours, in the morning and early afternoon. The sheriff's office says residents should be suspicious of anyone who comes to their homes asking for directions or offering to sell anything.
Citizens are asked to report any suspicious vehicles or activity.
