Wichita man stabbed, beaten and robbed on 9th Street
A 33-year-old Wichita man was taken to the hospital after a brutal attack.
It happened just after 11 p.m. Friday at 9th and Grove.
"He was stabbed on the left side of his chest and the right thigh, leaving visible puncture wounds, then apparently (was) stomped on the ground for a few minutes and then his wallet was stolen containing about $200 in cash." Wichita Police Sgt. Bruce Watts said.
The man was taken to Wesley Medical Center for minor injuries from the scene. He was not cooperating with police.
Officers are searching for three men in connection with the case. No suspects have been located.
